Vannacht is het eindelijk tijd voor The Game Awards, het jaarlijkse evenement van Geoff Keighley waarin bekend wordt gemaakt wat de consensus voor de beste game van het jaar is. Dit jaar is het mogelijk dat de winnaar DLC is, want ook Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is genomineerd voor Game of the Year.
